Woodland is home to the famous Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens, the annual celebration of The Lilac Festival, the Klager Museum, and Planter's Days, a celebration and pageant that ends with the coronation of a Planter's Day Queen. The celebration is the oldest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest and reflects Woodland's passion for history and tradition. Woodland is one of the oldest communities in Washington state and serves as a gateway to Mt. St. Helens and the Lewis River recreational areas.
