Woodburn is a city in Marion County, Oregon. The city is located in the northern end of the Willamette Valley between Portland and Salem. Interstate 5 connects it to major cities to the north and south. Oregon routes 211, 214, 219, and 99E also serve the city, as do the Union Pacific and the Willamette Valley Railway freight rail lines.

Woodburn is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is the third-most populous metropolitan area after Salem and Keizer. Originally the home of the Calapooia Indians, Woodburn was settled as part of the Oregon Territory. Nearby cities include, Gervais, Hubbard, Donald, Mount Angel, and St. Benedict.

Thirty miles south of Portland, Woodburn is widely known for the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, the Woodburn Premium Outlets and its friendly farming community that is the capital of Latinx culture in Oregon.
