Tualatin Real Estate

Tualatin is a city located primarily in Washington County in the State of Oregon. A small portion of the city is also located in neighboring Clackamas County. It is a southwestern suburb in the Portland Metropolitan Area that is located south of Tigard.

The city of Tualatin, is a small community that boasts a number of attractions and activities that are of interest to visitors and residents alike. Tualatin is home to various shopping centers, including Bridgeport Village, The Tualatin Commons, the city’s town center, and a 19-acre promenade and plaza, with a three-acre lake surrounded by a collection of restaurants, shops, and a hotel. Close to the Commons is the city’s library and city park. During the summer months, the Commons hosts free concerts featuring a variety of musical talent.

The city also has an interesting prehistoric history. About 15,000 years ago, a series of Ice Age floods, swept through the Willamette and Tualatin valleys and rocks or glacial erratics, were left behind that have been found in the area for more than a century. These erratics and other prehistoric artifacts are on display at the Tualatin Heritage Center and the Tualatin Public Library.
